Less than 48 hours

Well, it's here. In less than 48 hours I'll be running my first marathon. Out of the 28,000+ participants, only 6000 of us will be able to say we have run a full marathon. I feel like a celebrity already!!

This whole thing was for me... to complete a marathon before I turned 30. Now, it's turned into so much more. More than I can put into words. I'm running for those who can't. I'm running for those who are fighting for their lives and for those who lost that fight. See my TNT jersey to the right and the ribbons I have attached to the back. This is the tragedy... Out of the 38 people who have helped me raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, these ribbons represent someone they know or knew who had to fight cancer, of any kind. The purple ribbons represent survivors, the white ribbons represent those who lost their race, their race of life. There are 29 ribbons on my jersey. 29. From just 38 people.
